Self-care is such an important part of mental health and looking after ourselves. We designed this 'Making Time for Me' weekly planner to help you build healthy habits which prioritise self-care and help you work these into your daily routine. 

The A4 weekly planner comes with approx. 100 tear-off pages, a board back and a cover, to ensure it stays in tip-top condition. Each page lists the days of the week and all the different types of self-care - emotional, practical, physical, mental, social and spiritual. These prompts are the ideal way to help you identify what self-care you need, and encourages you to make time for it. 

How to Use Your Planner

Need some suggestions to get you started? Here are some examples of the types of self-care included in the planner and how to practice them:

  • Emotional - Activities that help you process, reflect and understand your emotions e.g. counselling or writing in a journal
  • Practical - Day-to-day activities that fulfil core aspects of your life e.g. doing your washing, budgeting your food shop
  • Physical - Activities that nurture your physical health e.g. exercise, getting enough sleep, staying hydrated
  • Mental - Activities which stimulate your mind e.g. reading, puzzles
  • Social - Activities which nurture and deepen your social connections e.g. spending time with friends and loved ones, calling your parents
  • Spiritual - Activities which nurture your spirit. These could be religious but they don't have to be e.g. spending time in nature, going to a place of worship, practicing yoga or meditation

Excellent tool

This is an excellent idea! It made me think more about what self care is and the different ways I can achieve it. Lately I've been feeling like I spend all my time working and have not made any time for self care.
